Important News

It is with great regret that we have to close the Kiama Makers & Growers Market as we are considered to be a non-essential activity. This may be permanent.

Kiama Council has decided not to renew our lease as of June 2020. Due to the situation world-wide and information from our government, we believe this will essentially mean we may not be able to reopen unless restrictions are lifted by the government. Our lease was due to expire at the beginning of June just after the Queen's Birthday weekend, but an extension of our lease doesn't look hopeful at this time. We have been trying to negotiate an extension on this closure to at least the end of the year, but it is not looking possible. We will update this page once we have more information from Council.

We were so looking forward to going out with a bang for our last market in June! We had organised activities and wanted to have a party at our last market. We have built up friendships with so many beautiful people over the last 6 years and will miss our stallholders and public so much. We know what tough times everyone has ahead - difficult days.

On a positive note, we are working on another project and will put up updates when we have news.

Please keep in contact with us.

All the very best to you all.
